Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 70, 1970) is an American former football tight end. Gonzalez played in the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. He is considered to be one of the top American tight ends of all time and holds the NFL record for most receiving yards among every tight end. He also ranks as the third-highest player in terms of number of receptions.

Tony Gonzalez is currently a FOX studio analyst for the studio. Gonzalez was anchoring FOX NFL KICKOFF and FOX NFL KICKOFF. FOX NFL KICKOFF is FOX NFL's pregame hour show that airs prior to FOX NFLSUNDAY. This airs at 11:00 am ET on Sundays during NFL season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on March 15 2013 for a contract of $14 million for two years, even though he claimed that he would retire after the season. Randy Moss retired in 2013 in 2013, and Gonzalez, who was 37 at the time completed the year that ended his professional career in the position of being the NFL most prolific receiver of yards.
